My best friend used to play ice hockey and the running drills that he always did were the kickbutt running drills. That is where you kick youself in the butt litterally every time you step. THan he also usd to do the sprint things where you lung forward with one foot than bring the next leg up and lung with that one next and just repaet. Another thing that is really good for conditioning is jumping jacks and taking a bar and turning side to side with your arms wrapped around it. Hope that this helped and good luck with the conditioning.

you should first run all the way down to the goal line then come all the way back. Then run to the second farthest line then come back. Then run to the center line, then come back. Then run to the closest line to you then come back to your goal line.

Go to www. athleteconstruction.com. It's mainly for ice hockey, but the drill should work for field hockey too. Good luck.
